Grow or Die

--

It’s GROW or DIE.

Nothing in between.

Today, I read this in a book, where the message conveyed was, ‘If you do not Grow, you are dying. There is nothing called Maintaining.’

And that got me thinking the whole day.

We all have a Learning Curve. More than that, I should say — a Growing Curve. For some of us, it’s faster, and for some of us — it’s not. But the point is — when you take a Business, it isn’t a learning curve.

It’s an experimental curve. You do not just learn. You experiment and reap returns in the process. Sometimes the returns are negative, and sometimes it’s positive.

Here, growth is defined as how best you can predict it and how best you can maximise the positives.

After running a Business for 5 and half years, here’s what I realised:

A Business for you should be based on what you value the most. Not what provides you Validation.

I thought a Business is about having more employees, being busy and making every minute a speeding treadmill. But the point I realised is, while I was doing it — I split my energy to a lot of unproductive tasks that weren’t as impactful as I intended them to be.

And only at that moment I decide to prioritise the elements I am good at.

I shifted to Consulting.

And once I did that, I could not only see my productivity increasing, but I became a way more impactful person than I ever was.

I suddenly saw my energies shifting to the most essential things; I started learning better, focussing better, working better with my clients, being with them in their time of need, and most importantly — doing the MOST IMPACTFUL work in their team.

And as a result,

- My Clients had a varied shift of perception
- My Clients started utilising their efforts in the right direction
- The Company outlook changed; its presence became streamlined and systematic
- They started elevating their standard of Business practices. Both in terms of Image and Revenue Generation.
- It brings an ounce of satisfaction to see business owners have an elevated perspective towards business growth and actually believe Millions of $$ are possible for them even with simplified resources.

So on that note, let me tell you this:

Grow or Die is a Thing. But it isn’t Everything.

Although you needn’t push yourself too much. Do not stay stagnant.

For, your Business needs Fuel, and it needs it every day.

If I could take one lesson from my half-decade Entrepreneurship, that’s this.

Consistency and Intensity Compounds.

And if you ever want to build a business worth Millions of Dollars — all you need to do is, Implement.
