How can we align the workforce with our strategy?
The main part of the operation where a lot of entrepreneurs suffer is getting the team aligned with their goals. With the onset of my first company, this was the number one hurdle that I faced. My team auto should say I wasn’t able to get my team aligned with what I was thinking. This ended up missing the holes schedule thereby creating peanuts while fever strategizing for almonds.
This scenario did not change overnight. It took months and months of repeated trial and error to arrive at one strategy. And this time after so many failed attempts I am sure I was successful. And now with all of my company’s I do this and I do this consistently to show that my team and I are on the same wavelength so that our customers harvest what they wish to.
So the main strategy that is implemented is communication. Frequent communication. Not micromanagement but staying on track of whatever was happening. A lot of supply gap happens when the communication is done with the CEO but the implementation is done as per the directions of the team manager.
To avoid this now we include our team members as a part of our client conversation or if the client conversation is too much on the higher level we ensure we give them moments of meeting to ensure that they get the seriousness, the commitment, and precise requirements of our clients.
Yes, initially it is a tiring process. But as weeks and months pass by, you would obviously thank yourself for taking this decision as a CEO.
Do it once. Get your team out of your schedule full stop involve them and trust them with the flow process. 80% We are all talented human beings with fewer opportunities. Give your team the trust and interest them with responsibilities mostly you will not be disappointed if you get disappointed then that is the signal that you need a different team member.
