Reclaiming Authenticity: Redefining Success Beyond Adjectives and Finding Balance in Self-Discovery

--

Don’t Define Yourself with Adjectives!

It’s easier to say, “I’m strong”, “I’m Ambitious”, “I’m Hustling” and so many other things.

We have these as affirmations as well.

But do we realize the effect of these on our subconscious mind & behavior patterns?

Before I could begin, I was one among them. I had strict regulations on “How I should be & How I should not be”

My Favourite quote was: “Life is what you make it”

It’s been 4 years since I began doing these repeatedly & to tell you — I am Successful!

professionally.

But the long-term effects of this include:

- Not knowing what my inner child wants.
- Being too hard on myself
- Being disappointed with me if I don’t follow my own “rule book”
- Taking everything on myself & grinding more than required, because if i don’t “make it” it won’t happen
- Bottled up anger with myself which I didn’t even realise
- Thought Hustle was powerful & Living was forgotten

and many many more.

With these,

When I look back, all I see are the monuments erected in the professional sphere but the damage I’ve done to my own self.

So many be this time, when we focus on soul-life balance along with work-life Balance.
