Today is a day of Simplification:

What’s unexpected about this painting is it lacks the creative elements not found in real life.

Saranya Narayana Moorthy | Daily Diary

After a LONG uphill battle, I realized that it's not a combination of doing multiple things you cannot do but rather doing something that can repeatedly be reinforced to bring up a simple, modest, and adventurous experience.

Weird right? Simple, modest, and adventurous?

Yes. But listen.

I Love a waffle, cream pasta, Masala Dosa [an Indian form of Potato stuffing inside plain crepe], smoothie, spicy chicken wings, and a scoop of strawberry ice cream.

And I wanna have it all.

Now imagine how that would taste if I had all of it in one mouthful.

I could have all of it in one meal. [That wouldn’t be delicious, however]

Or maybe bites of each one after the other.

But, at the end of the meal — do you think I would have had SOULFOOD?

No! I would have HAD everything. I wouldn’t have tasted anything thoroughly.

Not to mention. That’s how I have been living my life for a while now.

I wanna have it ALL.

And I wanna do it all!

And many times, it is burnout and immediate boredom. Not because of doing lots. But because of not feeling ALL

If you ask me, burnout isn’t a result of doing many things and stressing over them. But Burnout is a result of not having time to FEEL through life.

Burnout is a feeling of not feeling enough.

And if you do it all without a steady state of enjoying it all.

And today, I woke up at 4 Am I decided to lie in bed for a while before waking up at 7 Am again.

And immediately, as I woke up, I knew something had to change. Something about the whole way I do my business, how I operate myself, and eventually, how things flow on and on.

And for that — the first thing I decided to do is this: SIMPLIFICATION.

I have had too many things that weren’t even necessary. Too many social media accounts. Too many things to handle, and just like before, it is spreading wide while I couldn’t go narrow.

EXPECTATIONS push you to perform at your fullest potential. It pushes you to take risks. And those risks make you leave your comfort zone to GET IT DONE.

Mike and Harvey | Suits TV Show | Netflix | Saranya Narayana Moorthy

Suits wouldn’t have happened if Mike’s Granny didn’t need $25,000 to move to a new health unit—the sole reason Mike would agree to take Trevor's one-time deal and meet Harvey Specter.

So if you think something is hanging over your head — ask yourself. What does the universe want me to do? What is the outcome expected out of me? And when you get the answer — you will know what it is.

Can’t afford something now? Work soo hard that you can afford it in the nearest future.

Never Give Up | Motivational Quote | Saranya Narayana Moorthy

It's the feeling of — idk what! a Loneliness, even if you are silent, sometimes you feel someone is there. So it's not a bad thing. But else, the moment they leave, it becomes empty.

It takes a lot of work to be on top. You now have an image to maintain. It's hard to be the ‘BEST’ or the ‘BOSS’ because now you cannot let weakness coat over you. This especially gets reflected when you have friends in your professional segment. Or when you feel the same in your personal life.

Both of which are red flags for me. Never let your professional pals become your best friends, and let your personal life be coated with feelings of greatness.

These thoughts went through my mind just in a span of 2 hours while I was continuing through my daily activities while having a Medium draft pad open.

So, how did you like my day from my mind’s perspective?
